**Senior Radiation Therapist**

Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Chief Therapist, the Senior Radiation Therapist complies with the technical aspects of the department and is responsible for applying ionizing radiation to treat patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist in order to assist patients in the recovery process.

- Apply ionizing radiation to treat patients as per the Radiation Oncologist's instructions.

**Requirements**

- Minimum Education: Must have satisfactorily completed a 24-month course in Radiological Technology and must be registered by the ARRT. Must have completed a 12-month course in Radiation Therapy Technology and be registered by ARRT in Radiation Therapy. Valid Indiana State License as a Radiation Therapist is also required.
- Minimum Experience: Experience gained through coursework is sufficient.
- Certifications Required: Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
