The Nurse Practitioner provides a range of integrated care services in a patient-centered medical home model. The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical consultation and admissions to our inpatient addiction services. Substance use disorders, mental health issues and medical problems are addressed using well-established protocols. The Nurse Practitioner will also assist with outpatient primary care and medications for addiction treatment. 32-40 hours/week. Initiate treatment and follow clients receiving psychotropic drug therapy based on their own clinical judgment in the context of an ongoing relationship with a collaborating psychiatrist and within his/her own area of expertise. Referrals made to psychiatrist when appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Skills: Education & Experience Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
