POSITION DESCRIPTION Join UCSF s Department of Family Medicine in Urgent Care We re seeking faculty to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and advance innovation in one of the nation s leading academic health systems. Our Urgent Care services at BayFront and Parnassus provide high-quality, same-day care for patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions. Overall responsibilities The UCSF Urgent Care Physician will provide direct patient care to patients of all ages in the newly remodeled UCSF acute care clinic on Parnassus, and the newly constructed Bayfront Urgent Care, which opened in August 2024. 36 hours of direct patient care per week is expected in a full-time appointment at one or a combination of the two urgent care sites, and will include some evenings, weekends and holidays. Although the majority of patient encounters will be in-person, competency with video tele-health encounters is required. All shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays, will be equitably divided among the Urgent Care clinicians. In addition to providing direct clinical care, the Urgent Care Physician may provide input regarding protocols for efficient patient triage, and clinic flow at both locations. The Urgent Care Physician will supervise the clinical care of advanced practice providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) and provide consultation when needed. They will work collegially with clinic nurses and administrative staff at both locations. UCSF may increase the number urgent care clinics on campus, and the UCSF Urgent Care Physician is expected to participate in the implementation of the expanded services. Specific Responsibilities: 1) The Urgent Care Clinician will spend most of their time providing acute clinical care to UCSF patients. 2) Precept and mentor Advanced Practice Providers who work in the urgent care clinics. 3) Actively participate in the implementation of the UCSF Lean Healthcare system. 4) Provide bedside teaching for housestaff and medical students when needed. 5) Be available to provide cross-coverage for Urgent Care clinical shifts due to illness, conferences, and vacations. 6) Review and respond to quality concerns raised by patient relations and risk management. 7) Review lab and radiology results generated in the clinic, and partner with nursing and Care Coordinators to provide appropriate follow up. 8) Participate in True North and clinic huddle rounds. 9) Complete documentation in a timely way in accordance with UCSF policy. 10) Complete all required onboarding training within 30 days of start date. **Emergency Radiologist**

Join UCSF Health as an Emergency Radiologist and advance your expertise while leading the future of care. The UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking full-time Emergency Radiologists to join its expanding division serving Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) and UCSF Parnassus affiliates. This division provides diagnostic and consultation services for San Francisco's only Level I trauma center, the Parnassus Emergency Department, and UCSF acute care clinics.

**Job Description**

- Provide consultation and diagnostic services for ZSFG, San Francisco's only Level I trauma center.
- Influence program development and quality improvement within the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at UCSF.
- Collaborate with world-class researchers and educators in a vibrant academic environment dedicated to innovation and compassionate care.

**Requirements**

- MD (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice medicine in California.
- Fellowship training is preferred in Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Abdominal Imaging.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.

**Compensation Overview**

The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700-$393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
