    Job Description:

    • Provide high-quality complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across settings in partnership with non-physician practitioners and other interprofessional team members.
    • Maintain high engagement with facility leadership teams, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, patients, and families.
    • Serve as a collaborating physician for an average of 5, but up to 15, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, supporting them in their clinical roles.
    • Audit up to 10% of practitioner medical orders and/or documentation for each provider monthly, based on state and regional regulatory frameworks.
    • Assume medical directorships for skilled and/or other senior living facilities as needed.
    • Identify new growth opportunities with skilled facilities and/or other senior living facilities in the market/region.
    • Participate in company frontline/backup call processes for timely response to acute changes of condition to prevent avoidable hospital transfers.
    • Focus on quality outcomes, including care path compliance and productivity, prevention of avoidable transfers, and decrease in polypharmacy and care costs.
    • Attend required trainings and meetings as mandated by the CMO or other leaders to ensure best care delivery by the company.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and a Doctor of Medicine.
    • Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare.
    • Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred.
    • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred.
    • Practicing physician currently licensed under the provisions of the State Board of Medicine.
    • Active unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of employment.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.

    Salary Range:

    USD $187,000.00 - $230,000.00 / Year
