    Job Description:

    • Provide day-to-day clinical care to residents in facilities and home-bound patients.
    • Practice and role-model ethical and evidence-based decision-making.
    • Deliver high-quality complex and geriatric care in partnership with non-physician practitioners and interprofessional team members.
    • Engage with facility leadership, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, patients, and families.
    • Offer collaborating physician duties for 5 to 15 nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
    • Audit practitioner medical orders/documentation monthly based on regulatory frameworks.
    • Assume medical directorships for senior living facilities as needed.
    • Identify new growth opportunities with facilities in the market/region.
    • Participate in company frontline/backup call processes.
    • Focus on quality outcomes including care path compliance, productivity, and reduction of polypharmacy.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine, Doctor of Medicine.
    • Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare.
    • Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred.
    • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
    • Active unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of employment.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.

    USD $187,000.00 - $230,000.00 / Year
