Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, where you can make a difference in the lives of our residents. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 and a starting salary of $74,100 per year.

Job Description

• Oversee nursing care and manage daily operations of the assigned unit.
• Maintain and restore the health of resident patients.
• Serve as the main liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Address and resolve family concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise, mentor, and discipline nursing staff as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and healthcare providers to plan and monitor resident care.
• Complete admission and discharge assessments.
• Audit and oversee updates to care plans.
• Provide hands-on care and administer medications as needed.

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting (preferred).
• Strong decision-making skills for critical situations.
• Ability to supervise and work collaboratively with other healthcare personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and engage in frequent activity.
