Gastroenterologist

Location: Plattsburgh, NY

Job Description:

Join a progressive 300-bed community hospital on a 45-acre campus
Collaborate with a peer Gastroenterologist in a hospital-based practice
Provide diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions
Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
Participate as a GI Hospitalist/inpatient consultant and clinic-based specialist
ERCP and EUS procedures are optional and welcome
Call is shared 1:5 with 3 GIs in private practice
Serve an educational role with potential faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor level

Requirements:

MDs and DOs welcome
Support for J1/H1b visas available
Interest in resident education, fellow education, and clinical research is attractive

Compensation:

Earn a salary of $550K or more
