    Gastroenterologist

    Location: Plattsburgh, NY

    Job Description:

    • Join a progressive 300-bed community hospital on a 45-acre campus
    • Collaborate with a peer Gastroenterologist in a hospital-based practice
    • Provide diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions
    • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
    • Participate as a GI Hospitalist/inpatient consultant and clinic-based specialist
    • ERCP and EUS procedures are optional and welcome
    • Call is shared 1:5 with 3 GIs in private practice
    • Serve an educational role with potential faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor level

    Requirements:

    • MDs and DOs welcome
    • Support for J1/H1b visas available
    • Interest in resident education, fellow education, and clinical research is attractive

    Compensation:

    • Earn a salary of $550K or more
