Gastroenterologist
Location: Plattsburgh, NY
Job Description:
- Join a progressive 300-bed community hospital on a 45-acre campus
- Collaborate with a peer Gastroenterologist in a hospital-based practice
- Provide diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
- Participate as a GI Hospitalist/inpatient consultant and clinic-based specialist
- ERCP and EUS procedures are optional and welcome
- Call is shared 1:5 with 3 GIs in private practice
- Serve an educational role with potential faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor level
Requirements:
- MDs and DOs welcome
- Support for J1/H1b visas available
- Interest in resident education, fellow education, and clinical research is attractive
Compensation:
- Earn a salary of $550K or more
