    Urgent Care Medicine Physician

    Location: Bakersfield, California

    Job Description:

    • Work alongside board-eligible or board-certified Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine trained physicians
    • Thrive in a collegial and collaborative environment with highly trained and motivated individuals
    • Practice urgent care medicine with twelve-hour (12) shifts, including a 1-hour break
    • Open to full-time, part-time, and PRN positions
    • Treat 5 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-level acuity setting
    • Perform procedures such as joint injection, laceration repair, I&Ds, ingrown nail removal, foreign body removal, trigger point injections, splinting, casting, and X-ray reads
    • Utilize equipment within the clinic, including X-ray, EKG, Slit Lamp, and Labs

    Requirements:

    • Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine trained physicians or those with urgent care experience
    • New graduates are welcome, with training provided to become the best provider possible
    • Bilingual providers are preferred
