Interventional Cardiologist

Interventional cardiology locum tenens coverage is needed at Southern Colorado's largest and most technologically advanced medical center, beginning May 21st, 2025. The scope of coverage includes some clinic days, inpatient consults, inpatient study reads, interventional call, and scheduled and unscheduled interventional procedures.

Job Description

• 82 beds
• 4-6 admissions per day
• RN support
• EPIC EMR

Schedule/Availability Requirements

• Monday-Friday 7 AM - 5 PM (hourly), 5 PM - 7 AM (night call - 2.5 gratis hours)
• Mon-Sun - 7 AM - 7 AM - 24-hour call (8 gratis hours)
• May 20 - Orientation
• May 21 (a) - 30 (a)
• Site will have ongoing dates and work directly with the providers
• Must be willing and able to cover all types of shifts

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation includes competitive hourly, on-call, and call back rates with overtime/holiday pay at 1.5x regular rates. This is a 1099 opportunity. We offer paid travel and complimentary professional liability coverage.
