Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed in a corrections setting. This position offers the flexibility of local or travel contracts with rotating shifts, and the nurse will float between hospital and jail units with inmates. The location for this role is Galveston, TX.

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a corrections setting
• Float between hospital and jail units with inmates

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience during the past 3 years in settings such as prison, hospital acute care (ICU/ED/MS, etc.)
• Updated resume
• Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross)
• Current driver's license (DL)
• Social security card (SSC)
• Active TX or Compact LPN license
