Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a BE/BC Hematology/Oncology Physician for an immediate opening in Eastern Iowa. This position offers a locums or locums to permanent opportunity in a 50/50 Hematology/Oncology practice, joining two other physicians. The opening is due to an upcoming physician departure and is located on the IA/IL border within a 378-bed hospital system that includes 25 primary care and specialty clinics serving residents of southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois, and northeast Missouri.

Job Description

• 45-day credentialing timeframe
• Competitive compensation

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
• 10 days of call per month
• 15 patients per day in outpatient care
• 3 patients per day in the hospital
• Level III trauma center
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• BE/BC in both Hematology and Oncology
• IA License (or willingness to obtain)
