Neurosurgeon

Level I Trauma Center in Eastern Ohio is in need of a board-certified Neurosurgeon for 24-hour call coverage, 7 AM to 7 AM, 1 week per month ongoing, beginning with the week of August 27th-September 1st.

Job Description

• Primary Stroke Center
• 1-2 emergent cases per day through the ER
• EPIC EMR
• Neurosurgery cases for adults
• Neurosurgery cases for trauma
• Brain bleed stoppage
• Clot removal
• Tumor removal
• Trauma repair
• Shunt insertion or revision
• Neuro interventional radiology in-house

Requirements

• Spine surgery procedures required:
  • Spine stabilization and reconstruction
  • Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
  • Spinal fusion
  • Laminectomy
  • Diskectomy
