Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility is a 140-bed skilled nursing facility located in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We are committed to being the leading provider of quality care in Sullivan County. In order to achieve that goal, we need to meet high standards of excellence in the care the residents receive. We are looking for a dedicated, professional RN/LPN Unit Manager to join our team of passionate healthcare superstars. We are primarily looking for weekend availability.

Job Description

• Responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures during the course of their shift.
• Promote and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care plan.
• Direct and develop staff, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff, and provide physical and psychological support for residents and their families.
• Direct and coordinate the nursing units under their supervision.
• Provide resident care services with kindness and compassion to the residents.
• Plan, organize, and oversee staff to provide patient care.
• Evaluate care and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the department's daily staffing requirements.
• Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
• Act as an interface between the staff, residents, and the residents' families.
• Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN/LPN license in NY.
• RN/LPN experience in long-term care is required.
• At least 1 year of long-term care/skilled nursing facility supervisory experience is highly preferred.
