International Cardiology

Join our team as an International Cardiologist in Coos Bay, OR. This locum-to-perm position offers a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing supplemental coverage.

Job Description

• Cover inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac cath lab services
• Perform procedures including:
  • Intracoronary foreign body retrieval and mechanical thrombectomy
  • Intracoronary infusion of pharmacologic agents including thrombolytic medications
  • Intracoronary stents, balloon angioplasty, and other commonly used interventional devices
  • Intracoronary ultrasound of coronaries or IVUS
  • Management of complications of percutaneous interventional coronary procedures
  • Rotational atherectomy
  • Interpretation of coronary angiograms, ventriculography, and hemodynamics
  • Intra-aortic balloon pump catheter insertion and post-patient care
  • Peripheral vascular angiography, angioplasty, and stenting

Requirements

• Active OR license (or willing to obtain)
• Board certified in internal medicine/interventional cardiology
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must have ties to Oregon
