Join our team as a Gastroenterologist in Biddeford, ME, where you will provide essential care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.

Job Description

• Provide clinical care for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage a patient volume of 12-14 per day
• Perform 10-12 procedures, including:
  • Small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
  • Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
  • Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices, banding of varices, PEG, diagnostic, therapeutic

Requirements

• Active Maine medical license
• Board certification in Gastroenterology
