Licensed Physical Therapist

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Physical Therapists to provide Physical Therapy Services for a hospital in Kerr County, Texas. The Physical Therapists will oversee and provide therapeutic rehabilitation services, assess, evaluate, and treat individuals while receiving inpatient psychiatric services.

Job Description

• Perform and interpret assessments and render clinical and consultative services to individuals and caregivers.
• Evaluate and assess gait dysfunction, pain management, orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Plan, develop, and implement complex physical therapy protocols to treat, improve, or maintain the individual's level of health and function.
• Monitor, track, and trend data pertaining to services and assistive devices.
• Document patient progress and review/audit the treatment records as documented by Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities.
• Assist in the development of the Person-Centered Recovery Plan (PCRP) and treatment planning and collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• May supervise the work of others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/Masters in physical therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved institution.
• 5 years of experience working with therapeutic rehabilitation services.
• Active Texas license.

Benefits

• Compensation: $55/hr
• Contract duration: 1 year
• Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Start date: September 01, 2024.
