Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in Colville, WA. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide supplemental coverage in a supportive inpatient setting.

Job Description

• Provide clinical coverage from May 19-27, 2024, with shifts scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Sunday.
• Manage a patient volume of 10-20 per night shift, with demographics consisting of 80% adults and 20% pediatrics.
• Collaborate with available physicians in practice, including Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
• Respond to house codes as part of the emergency department staff.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation.
• Work in a facility with 25 total beds, including 4 ICU beds and 10 beds in the emergency department.
• Access to support services including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Lab, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology.

Requirements

• Active Washington State License
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

Additional Information

• Hospitalist will write admission orders.
• Emergency privileges available for providers with an active license and clean file within 48 hours.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered.
