Pediatric Endocrinology

Location: Greensboro, NC

Job Description:

• Treating adrenal gland conditions, diabetes, early or delayed puberty, growth problems, lipid disorders, low blood sugar, menstrual disorders, obesity, pituitary & thyroid gland conditions, vitamin D deficiency
• Work within a clinical setting with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Collaborate with a team including 2 physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and certified medical assistants
• Engage with a diverse patient demographic from birth to 21 years old

Shift and Call Schedule:

• Mon-Fri; 8 am-5 pm - 2 weeks/month
• Call schedule: To be determined - 1 week, 1 weekend
• Call type: Beeper

Patient Volume:

• 10 - 12 patients per day
• New patients: 60 min appointments
• Follow-ups: 30 min appointments
• Phone consults and rounding included

Specialty Backup:

• Access to specialty backup in pediatric neurology, genetics, surgery, GI, pulmonology, pediatric complex care clinic, after NICU care, and pediatric development and behavior

Requirements:

• Active NC License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• DEA
• BLS, PALS (preferred)
