Location: Indio, CA

Job Description:

Service setting: Inpatient
Coverage type: Clinical + Call
Shift schedule: 8 hours per day
Call schedule: Nights; 7-14 days per month
- After hours call is very rare
- No weekend calls
Call coverage: STEMI
Call type: Beeper
Call response time: 30 minutes
Case volume: 10-15 cases per week
- 1 Cancer case per week
Specialty back-up: Consulting pathologists are at sister hospital about 45 minutes away with available courier service
- Sister hospital offers regular tumor boards & breast pretreatment conferences for CME
Procedures: Small GI Biopsies, GYN path, Grossing
EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

Active CA License
Board Certified (BC)
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must have CA Fluoroscopy License
