Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Locum Tenens

Job Description

• Provide clinical care and call coverage from December 9, 2024, to September 1, 2025
• Work schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM with night and weekend call responsibilities
• Manage a patient volume of 10-14
• Perform required procedures including PAPE/H & P, stroke management, amputations, and discharge summaries
• Participate in care plan meetings and weekly documentation
• Conduct pre-admission screening reviews and documentation per CMS guidelines
• Prescribe narcotics and conduct daily patient face-to-face acute consultations
• Utilize onsite lab, radiology, and procedure room facilities

Requirements

• Active Michigan medical license
• Board certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Local candidates preferred
• Must be available for the specified coverage dates
• Clean record
