Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Location: Redding, CA

Job Description:

Provide locum tenens orthopedic trauma surgery services
Work within an inpatient service setting
Handle call coverage for ED, rounding, and consultations
Patient volume of 20-30 cases, focusing on general and traumatic orthopedic injuries
Prefer training/experience in hand surgery

Call Schedule:

24-hour call from 7 AM to 7 AM
8-12 days per month

Support:

Supported by hospital-based APPs for the Ortho-Spine service line
Trauma Level II facility

Technology:

EMR system: Cerner Care

Other Details:

Temporary privileges available
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active CA License
Active Fluoroscopy License or willingness to obtain
Board Certified (BC)
DEA, BLS
Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma
Clean record
