Join our team as an Interventional Radiologist in Grass Valley, CA. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide supplemental coverage in an inpatient service setting.

Job Description

• Coverage period: Nov 1, 2024 - Ongoing
• Clinical + call coverage required
• Shifts needed to be filled: Nov 12-16
• Shift schedule: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Nightly and weekend call after 4:30 p.m. (beeper call)
• Patient volume: 85-90 (ED); 50 (IP)
• Procedures include:
  • IR Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters
  • CT/US Biopsies: Thyroid, Lung & others
  • Barium studies, Lumbar Punctures
  • Acute Care Imaging: Stroke CTs, ED and ICU
• Support staff includes Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses & Techs; Rad group that performs overflow and after-hours reads
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active CA License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• DEA
• ACLS, BLS
• CA Fluoroscopy
