Trauma Surgery NP/PA

Join our team as a Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a locum tenens position located in Columbus, OH. This role offers the opportunity to work in an inpatient setting with a focus on trauma care.

Job Description

• Provide clinical care in a trauma surgery setting, working autonomously with attending trauma surgeons available 24/7.
• Cover a patient demographic of all ages, admitting patients 16 and older.
• Shift schedule includes 5:30 AM to 6 PM, 11 AM to 11:30 PM, and 5:30 PM to 6 AM.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation.
• Note that this position does not involve functioning in the operating room as a First Assist.

Requirements

• Active Ohio License
• Board Certified
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
• FCCS certification is highly preferred
• Experience in trauma surgery and critical care
