Join our team as a Transplant Surgeon in Burlington, VT. This locum tenens position offers an opportunity to work in an inpatient setting, providing supplemental coverage with a focus on transplant surgery.

Job Description

• Provide transplant call, screening, accepting, and declining deceased donor kidneys
• Collaborate with the on-call Transplant Coordinator to bring transplant candidates in for potential transplants
• Round on transplant patients in the hospital less than 90 days from transplant in collaboration with the Transplant Nephrologist
• Collaborate with inpatient staff, Transplant Nephrologist, and Transplant NP to assist with inpatient throughput
• Required procedures include kidney transplant without recipient nephrectomy; preferred procedure is laparoscopic donor nephrectomy

Requirements

• VT License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• ASTS Certified in Transplant Surgery
• BLS and ACLS certifications
