    Occupational Therapist Assistant

    Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapist Assistants to provide a powerful learning environment, planning and delivering purposeful, educational-based occupational therapy for schools in Texas. The ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience working in a school setting or experience working with minors.

    Job Description

    • Reviewing IEPs and ensuring knowledgeable implementation of assessment tools
    • Identifying students with the presence of fine motor deficits, dysregulation, sensory issues, and/or behavioral deficits
    • Determining eligibility for services according to the school's policies and procedures, TEA, and licensing boards
    • Providing top quality direct or indirect IEP services
    • Maintaining and monitoring paper and digital tracking logs, ARD logs, and evaluation logs on a daily basis
    • Partnering with OT and/or special education teacher in IEP development or developing IEPs aligned with curriculum
    • Assisting special education teacher in progress report completion
    • Completing initial (re)evaluations prior to deadline, IEPs, and progress reports in Frontline

    Requirements

    • Associate degree from an AOTA accredited program
    • Minimum one year experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
    • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Certification
    • Valid Texas COTA license
