Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking an occupational therapist to provide services at a facility in Porterville, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to clients while ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Job Description

• Provide occupational therapy treatments, conduct thorough assessments, and customize care plans to address each individual's unique needs.
• Provide treatment and consultation in the areas of motor function and development, activities of daily living, oral-motor dysfunction, and dysphagia.
• Assess the need for adaptive equipment, seating and positioning systems, and therapy intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate records on treatments and procedures.
• Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures while delivering optimal patient care.
• Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
• Any other duties as assigned.
