Occupational Therapist

Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide direct and indirect (consult) therapy services and evaluations for students in Houston, Texas. The Occupational Therapists will be responsible for assessing students and providing appropriate treatment to meet individualized student objectives and provide recommendations for school needs.

Job Description

• Provide direct and indirect (consult) occupational therapy services to students in the region that require IEP OT services
• Provide OT initial evaluation and re-evaluation support as needed for students in the region
• Assist in IEP development for children receiving O.T. services
• Maintain appropriate records for all children receiving O.T. services
• Supervise students as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association)
• Current National Board Certification
• At least 1 year of work experience within the last 3 years

Benefits

• Rate: $60/hr
• Contract position as per school calendar
