Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Rockville, MD

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide private nursing services in a school setting. The nurse will be required to provide one-on-one nursing services to a student.

Job Description:

• Provide care needed as per the student's health care plan.
• Administer and manage medication.
• Observe for adverse reactions, response, or lack of response to medication.
• Collaborate with the student's primary physician regarding all medical/mental health-related services.
• Obtain medical orders and provide copies for the school health record.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for each assigned student.
• Keep the school nurse/principal apprised of the student's needs and status.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland license
• BLS/ACLS Certification
• Bachelor's degree / Approved certificate program
