Licensed Practical Nurse - Correctional Facility

Location: Salters, South Carolina

Job Description:

Work within a correctional setting
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Rate: $40/hr

Requirements:

Unrestricted South Carolina License
Registered with the South Carolina Board of Nursing
1 year or more experience in correctional environment preferred
CPR certification

Responsibilities:

Complete necessary medical documents in a legible format
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
Monitor mental health illness and medication with appropriate referral, medical referrals, and follow-ups
Receive patients and explain procedures to alleviate undue anxiety
Submit reports and evaluations as requested
Coordinate with the Clinical Director, Medical Officer, or Mid-Level Practitioner for treatment of patients and release of information
Perform other duties assigned by management
