Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a facility in Lubbock County, Texas. The ideal LVN will provide treatment, support, and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral needs.

Job Description

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Monitor patients' health and report changes to supervising RN or physician
• Document care activities and complete computer data entries (training provided)
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and standards (e.g., ICF-IDD, facility SOPs)
• Provide supportive and compassionate care tailored to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Requirements

• Current LVN license in the State of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or developmental disability settings
• Must meet immunization requirements per state guidelines
• Must successfully pass drug screening and fingerprint background check
• Completion of all pre-employment training mandated by facility and state health services
