- Provide education to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, ergonomics, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and changes in condition.
- Collaborate and communicate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate patient care.
- Apply pain management strategies and support patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness.
