Licensed Practical Nurse

Adelphi is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide exceptional nursing services at a special education school in Utah. The LPNs will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students with hearing and visual impairments.

Job Description

• Ride with students to school
• Check equipment and supplies before departure to ensure that all provisions are available for the students' needs during the day
• For students with trach, suction trachs as often as necessary to maintain the student's airway
• Monitor students' medical condition(s) and intervene appropriately
• Assist the child to participate in the curriculum activities determined by the classroom teacher
• Where necessary, feed students by bolus or feeding pump
• Administer medications at the appropriate time, route, and dosage as determined by the student's physician

Requirements

• Active UT license
• 1 year experience

Benefits

• Compensation: $30/hr
