Requirements

• BLS - Basic Life Support - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
• NBCOT - NB Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OTR - Occupational Therapist
• Bachelor's Degree
• More than 1 year of experience preferred but willing to consider new graduates
• Interpersonal skills needed for effective verbal and written communication in the English language to interact with people individually and in a group at all levels
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating problem-solving and organizational skills, time management skills, and initiative
• Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training must be completed annually according to the Exposure Control Plan
• Ability to work where the employee may be exposed to communicable diseases and use personal protective equipment correctly
• Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation
• Ability to demonstrate and teach selected treatment routines to appropriate professional and non-professional individuals
• AOTA membership preferred
