Physical Therapist

Job Description

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical histories to determine patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Develop and document individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans with measurable goals.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and mobility.
• Deliver manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve function and reduce pain.
• Apply physical modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on the use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide home exercise programs.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, ergonomics, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and clinical findings.
• Implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatment notes, progress, consent) and adhere to ethical and legal standards, including confidentiality.
• Provide culturally responsive care tailored to diverse patient backgrounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid, active state Physical Therapy license
• Current CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED)

• Competitive rate for travel: $2,383 for 36 hours; local: $2,347 for 36 hours
• Flexible schedule: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, Sunday to Saturday
