Physical Therapist

We're looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join a team in Winchester, NH on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows an 08:00 AM-04:30 PM schedule and offers competitive pay (Travel: $2,072/35-hours; Local: $2,041/35-hours).

Job Description

• Perform thorough evaluations and review medical histories to identify each patient's needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and design exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide hands-on care using manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to reduce pain and promote healing.
• Instruct patients on safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide practical education to patients and families about conditions, recovery expectations, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Create customized home exercise programs and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate care.
• Follow ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in interactions.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• A valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
