Join our team as a Physician in Gastroenterology, providing locum tenens coverage in Des Moines, IA. This position offers an opportunity to work in an inpatient setting with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Description

• On-site coverage two days per week; 16 hours/week (Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and EGD procedures
• Deliver high-quality direct patient care (99%) with minimal administrative duties (1%)
• Collaborate with facility staff and specialty teams as applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within CPRS

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine
• ABIM Internal Medicine with Subspecialty Certification in Gastroenterology
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• DEA Certificate required
• NPI required
• Minimum of two years of experience
