Join our team as a DOT Certified MD/DO in Georgia. This position offers an opportunity to work in an outpatient setting with a supportive staff and a focus on clinical care.

Job Description

• Provide DOT and pre-employment physicals and manage on-the-job injuries
• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries
• Perform pre-placement DOT examinations
• Conduct public safety and surveillance physical examinations
• Carry out outpatient procedures including splinting, suturing, and the ability to read and interpret X-rays
• Diagnose orthopedic injuries; no casting; any embedded objects in the eye will be referred out

Requirements

• Active Georgia license and DEA
• BLS/CPR certification, DOT/NCRME certification

Coverage Details

• Coverage period: ASAP - ongoing
• Service setting: Outpatient
• Coverage type: Clinical only
• Shifts needed to be filled:
  • June 2 - Augusta, GA
  • June 30 - Augusta, GA
• Shift schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Average number of patients per physician per day: 20-25 (all adults)
• Support staff: Full office staff
• EMR: Occuflex
