Job Description

• Oversee daily operations of the surgical services department
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate surgical nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Experience in surgical/perioperative nursing with leadership/management experience preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• BLS required; CNOR or specialty certifications preferred
