    Speech Language Pathologist

    Job Description

    • Provide self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Speech Pathology Association standards.
    • Evaluate, plan, direct, and treat all patients referred to speech therapy.
    • Responsible for assessment, reassessment, goal setting, and developing and implementing plans of care for all patients referred to Speech Therapy.
    • Demonstrate the ability to competently perform all items on the speech skills inventory/competency checklist.
    • Supervise Speech Therapy students and therapists during their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
    • Ensure that documentation meets regulatory and departmental standards and policies.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology School.
    • Master's Degree in Speech.
    • Current Florida Speech Language Pathology license.
    • Clinical Fellowship Year candidates also considered, providing a supervising SLP is available.
    • Valid BLS certification.

    Schedule

    • Full Time Days - (4 x 10-hour days) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Travel is required 1 time a week to AdventHealth Lake Wales.

    Pay

    • $39.27 - $58.90 per hour

    Expected Hours

    • 24 - 30 per week
