Behavioral Health Consultant Lead

Job Description
- Responsible for the usual Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) duties, providing direct patient care for 60% of the time.
- Support practices integrating BHCs into their workflow for the remaining 40% of the time.
- Train new BHCs in best practice models, billing and payment models, and provide ongoing education and on-site clinical support to BHCs and other care team members.
- Assist the Behavioral Health Manager with performance evaluations of BHCs.
- Conduct training on behavioral health and substance abuse topics, including Motivational Interviewing, SBIRT, Depression Screening, and Social Determinants of Health.
- Facilitate monthly BHC Learning Collaborative and maintain records.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Minimum:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling/Psychology
- 3-5 years relevant experience with integrated care and/or behavioral health
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
- Preferred:
- 1-3 years experience in drug and alcohol/substance abuse counseling
Benefits
