Physician Assistant

Our client in Oregon is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday - Friday schedule with potential for a 4-day work week. Candidates will work alongside an established orthopedic spine surgeon. Responsibilities will include seeing patients in clinic, assisting in surgery, and inpatient rounds.

Job Description

• Assist in surgery, treat patients in office and on the floor
• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Educate patients and their family members
• Promote good health practices

Requirements

• Active Oregon state physician assistant license or ability to obtain
• Master's degree
• New graduates or those with experience in orthopedics are encouraged to apply
