Respiratory Therapist

Job Description:

• Join a critical access hospital located within 45 minutes of Kansas City.
• Work under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director.
• Provide basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of Respiratory Care in all patient care departments.
• Perform therapy services and testing within the scope of practice of the Cardiopulmonary Department and within the licensure guidelines as defined by the state of Kansas.
• Bring clinical expertise to a quaint and wonderful community.

Requirements:

• Preferred Experience: 1+ years clinical experience.
• Ability to perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Education:

• Minimum Required Education: Successful completion of an associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Minimum Required Licenses: KSBHA license.
• Minimum Required Credentials: Certified Respiratory Therapist from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Preferred Credentials: Registered Respiratory Therapy from the NBRC.
• Minimum Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
