MD Internal Medicine

Location: Salem, OR

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, both in the clinic and in units for those unable to be transported
• Interpret medical studies and specialty recommendations
• Perform basic office procedures
• Offer telephone consultations
• Work closely with psychiatrists to manage and prevent metabolic syndrome caused by medications
• Refer patients to external specialists as needed
• Participate in committees and attend departmental meetings
• Engage with families and agencies to enhance patient care

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week; Monday to Friday (8 or 10 hour shifts)

Contract Type:

• 13 week locums contract

Compensation:

• 1099; Up to $150/hour - $312,000 annually
