Job Description

• Provide physician-prescribed physical therapy to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the physician, healthcare team, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and the patient's status.
• Help develop the plan of care and revise as necessary.
• Communicate with Americare Therapy Services as needed regarding issues related to rehab services and indicated patient care.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience preferred.
• Licensed by the State of New York as a Physical Therapist.
• Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or successor organizations of CAPTE.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.

• Master's degree (preferred).

Experience

• Physical therapy: 1 year (preferred).
