Job Description

• Evaluate patient's speech and language abilities, both defects and assets, and perform periodic reevaluations.
• Plan and provide rehabilitating services for speech and language disorders.
• Maintain records of patient's progress and reaction toward treatment on a daily basis.
• Instruct and counsel other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patients in improving, correcting, and accepting disabilities.

Requirements

• Licensed by The State of New York as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• A master's degree is required and one (1) full year of supervised work experience.
• Speech Language Pathologist supervisors must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience.
• Member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and certified by the association.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
