Respiratory Therapist

Job Description:

• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and medical gas delivery apparatus
• Administer medical gases, humidification, aerosols, and respiratory medications
• Maintain clearance of patients' natural and artificial airways
• Provide primary assistance in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Obtain and run blood samples, maintain the Arterial blood gas laboratory, report analyte results, and interpret blood gas data

Requirements:

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of employment (RT, RRT, CRT)
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum of one to three years of related work experience
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer knowledge
