Physical Therapist - Acute

Join our team as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center with a high census, providing care primarily to a large adult population.

Job Description

• Physical therapy needed ASAP for 13 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one weekend required every four weeks and one mid-week day off the week before and the week after.
• Experienced acute inpatient physical therapist needed with 3-5 years of inpatient experience (LTC or rehab facilities will not be considered).
• All care is bedside, primarily with Medsurg patients.
• Team works closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management Units.
• Must be independent and disciplined as the day-to-day schedule is self-managed.

Requirements

• Licenses: PT-PA
• Certifications: BLS (copy needed)
• SSN required
• DOB required
• Work history: Should not have more than 30 days of gap in the last year
• References: 1 reference in entire work history
• Must have 3-5 years of inpatient experience (LTC or rehab facilities will not be considered).
• Must be independent and disciplined as the day-to-day schedule is self-managed.
