Job Description:

• Responsible for providing direct nursing and personal care required to the resident
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Support in all activities of daily living that ensures the health, welfare, and safety of all residents of the facility

Essential Duties:

• Monitor residents' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible treatment and care
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician
• Perform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required

Qualifications:

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN program with a pharmacology course
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN
