    Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

    Join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained in our facility. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500 and the opportunity to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.

    Job Description

    • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
    • Assist in coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
    • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
    • Assist the Director of Nursing in ensuring enough licensed practical and/or registered nurses; Certified Nursing Assistants; medications; and safety equipment are available and utilized in the proper manner for each shift to ensure that quality care is maintained.

    Requirements

    • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN program with a pharmacology course.
    • Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN.
    • 2 years of experience in a supervisory healthcare role preferred.
