Location: Clinton, North Carolina

Job Description:

• Provide evaluation and treatment for psychiatric disorders in a community outpatient setting
• Enjoy a weekday schedule, with half days on Friday and remote options

Essential Duties:

• Review and approve psychological assessments, treatment plans, and goals
• Order or execute various tests, analyses, and other diagnostic measures necessary to provide information on patient's condition
• Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose conditions
• Administer or prescribe treatment and drugs
• Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment
• Provide or refer patients for hospitalization services as needed
• Follow credentialing standards and/or operational procedures per CWH policy
• Assume specified duties in the absence of the medical director
• Participate in continuing education activities on- and off-site when appropriate and feasible
• Participate in staff conferences to devise individual patient care plans, revise and update clinic services, continue quality improvement programs, and engage in continuing education as appropriate
